Every time we successfully fund a Kickstarter campaign, we donate $1 for every backer—plus any extra money those backers donate for trees. Each $1 plants 1 tree wherever in the world it's most needed to build ecosystems, clean air and water, promote biodiversity, sequester carbon, and provide jobs.
To date, we've planted 2,484 trees with One Tree Planted, and we plan to keep going for as long as we publish!

The Latest News from the Loose Ends Anthology

Hi there, Loose Ends fam!
It's been a while since we sent you an update, and we thank you for your patience! 🙏
We've spent the past 6 weeks finalizing the files we have for all the comics in the collection, commissioning two new pages for the anthology intro from the incredible Cammry Lapka, divvying up our Kickstarter profits amongst our contributors, and more. We've been busy! 💪
Now we're back online, and we're about to hit "go" on sending out digital rewards and ordering the print copies of the Loose Ends Anthology!
As such, we wanted to let you know that if you placed orders in our BackerKit shop when you filled out your survey, your card will be charged in 48 hours! You should receive a notification from BackerKit with all the details. 🤑

Good News and Great News from the Loose Ends Anthology!

We have good news and great news, folks!
Let's start with the great news first. 🤩
🌍 We Just Heard from Our Creative Team in Iran!
Last week, after three months of nail-biting silence, we heard from Bahar Es'Hagi and Negin K. Manesh, the creative team behind "Her Face" in the Loose Ends Anthology.
Because they are both in Iran, they’d had no access to the internet since February. Their connections were just turned back on, and they both checked in to say that they're safe.
When the war broke out between our countries, we lost contact with them immediately. During the entire campaign for the Loose Ends Anthology, we had no idea what was happening to them or whether they were okay. We sent out questions for creator interviews to both of them, but they weren't able to respond. We funded the Kickstarter and celebrated with a live-streamed party, and they weren't able to attend.
It was terrifying to have just begun a relationship with these two incredible creative women, then to wonder every day if we would ever speak to them again. To know firsthand the brilliance they can bring to the world, only to have it cut off from us by a senseless war that had nothing to do with any of us.
So today, we're so grateful to know that they are safe and able to communicate with us again. 🙏
We are hoping that lasting peace can be reached soon, and that they never have to go through anything like this, ever again. ☮️

It will only take a few minutes, and we will not be able to fulfill your rewards if you haven't completed it! 😬
Technically, you can fill out your survey anytime, but getting it done right now helps us out enormously because it helps us get a more accurate count of how many items we need to have manufactured for our backers. 🔢
It also helps you out, because anybody who completes their survey after today won't get to see their personalized thank-you on the book and on the website. 🥹 And we really want to thank you by name!

What's a Backer Survey, Anyway? ❓
Backer surveys are an essential tool we use to collect the information so we can fulfill your rewards! 🔨
Information like: your up-to-date contact information, preferred mailing address, final reward choices, and other vital info we need to send you your goodies. 📬 We want to make sure every last one of you gets your well-earned rewards!
Plus, it's where you tell us what name you'd like us to say "thanks" to in the Loose Ends Anthology! 🙏
So here’s what to do:
